System renewal and avatar image upload

The web system of 81Dojo has been upgraded, having more possibilities of new functions. This news release explains the new Avatar Image Upload, one of the new functions starting with the system upgrade.

Image upload process

1. Click "WebSystem" in the menu bar at the top of the home page. Login with your e-mail account and password.
2. In your "MyPage", click "Upload avatar image" in the user menu.
3. You need 5000 D-Miles for the first upload, and 1000 D-Miles for all following uploads.
4. If the mileage you have is more than the above stated miles, an upload button will appear.
5. Check the image guidelines and upload your image. After the review by the system administrator, your image will be registered and the miles will be deducted accordingly.
6. Once an image is accepted, it stays valid permanently unless a new image is uploaded again.

Extension of 2015 Avatar service

The users listed below have been entitled to use an own image only for the year 2015. This service will be extended by 1 month to the end of January. If you wish to make this image permanent, please upload a new or the same image by the end of January with only 1000 D-Miles. After it expires, you need 5000 D-Miles to upload a new image again. (If you wish to keep the same image but do not have the image file anymore, please simply contact us via e-mail to ask for the extension.)
(The avatar holders that are not listed below already have the permanent right. Therefore, additional uploads are not necessary.)

Other changes with the system renewal

Incidentally, sum functions are temporarily not working due to the system change.

• The iOS app cannot connect to the new server until the next update. (Scheduled in about 1 week.) The Android app has been already updated to support the new system.
• The 81Dojo Widget and the Ranking Search services are currently now working. They will be upgraded soon.
• The Chu-shogi server will not be compatible with the new system. Further information will be announced later.
