What is Renza Tournament
- Renza Tournament is a short-timerule tournament that employs one big step-ladder elimination system.
- Renza is named after the Kanji expression of the title "A", which means "the throne of continuity."
Rules
- Games will be played at 81Dojo, with 0min-30sec, rated.
- All players will be enrolled into one big step-ladder bracket.
- The players are put in order of their rating, the highest ranked being most highly seeded.
- Two players will be selected by the step-ladder system to play the final title match. They are:
- The winner of the final game of step-ladder system
- The player who has got the most number of wins
- If #1 and #2 stated above were achieved by the same player,
the player with second most number of wins will play the title match
agaist him.
- In case of any ties, higher ranked player will be selected.
- Player gets one 'life' point every time he makes one win.
- However, the final game of the step-ladder is worth two 'life' points.
- The title match will be played with multiple games based
on their 'life' points remaining. Each time the player loses a game, he
loses one 'life' points. The one who first took out all the opponent's
'life' points wins this tournament, and becomes the title holder
"Renza".
- Draw game in step-ladder should be resolved with a rematch.
- Draw game in the title match will cost one 'life' point for both players.
