What is Shooting Star Tournament
- Shooting Star Tournament is a blitz game
tounament. The players will compete with their fast thinking ability in
"10-sec Shogi" games.
- Kanji expression of the title name is "", which means a shooting star in Japanese.
Rules
- Games will be played at 81Dojo, with 0min-10sec, non-rated.
- All players will be separated into nunber of preliminary groups, each of which consists of players with less time differences.
- Players of the same group gather at 81Dojo in a specific hours of a day, and try to play all games of that group.
- Preliminary league is run by a round-robin system.
- Draw game should be resolved with a rematch.
- If some players could not finish their games in the
specified hours, they should then try to arrange their game withing
1week after.
- If two or more players tie as the top of the league, the
winner is decided according to the results of their direct game that
has been played.
- The winners of each groups then form a single-elimination
system finals to decide the winner, the Shooting Star. Each match in
the finals tournament will be 5-game match. (or 3-win match).
